Palermo Viejo is a cultural and entertainment area, full of bars, pubs, restaurants offering different cooking styles, such as Mexican, Japanese, Creole and other foods. There is also a fashion and crafts avant-garde zone particularly developed by young people. Numerous means of transportation along Santa Fe Avenue take the tourist to every city centre spot and to Greater Buenos Aires. Trains and subways go to Belgrano and to the City Centre. One may also visit the Zoo and the Botanical Garden.
